MIMEWORKSHOPS

Ibelisse Guardia of Bolivian and Brazilian origin, yet educated at the Mime School in Amsterdam, went in the summer of 2007 to Mozambique for an orientation training. Within a week, she gave theatre group Tambo Tambulani Tambo training from the mime discipline, which corresponded with their own physical narrative-dance theatre style.
There appeared to be much enthusiasm and work material. Ibelisse's workshop was the first artistic encounter with Tambo Tambulani Tambo.
