SUCCESS IN KINSHASA: OVER 1500 PEOPLE PER SHOW
The musical theatre play Basal'ya Bazoba about child witches in Kinshasa is again successfull. The truck that can be transformed into a stage for the actors and the band, is on the road again and visits a new neighbourhood everyday. Quite a few people shows up every time the truck arrives. From young to old, men and women, rich or poor, everybody sits down on the ground, in a little plastic chair, stands or climbs in trees to behold the musical spectacle. In the first week of Februar there were days with more than 1500 people of public!
While in Kinshasa the actors, musicans and the rest of the crew do their very best every day to give a great performance, in The Netherlands and Congo people work hard to record the music of the play on CD. Soon you can read more about this swinging CD on our website!
