Some bad omens in Bhutanese Culure:
Sighting an empty vessel may be considered as a sign of bad luck.
Coming across two empty vessels while on an errand, is considerd as a good omen
The cry of a fox on your doorstep warns you of death and disaster
If a flagpole breaks in front of you despite calm weather, predicts ill-happening
If a woman dreams of eating fruits, she is going to have a baby
Despite calm weather, a strong branch breaks and crashes in front of you predicts illness
A dream of loosing tooth means seriously illness that affects your life, or gives news of death
If you knock you little toe on your way to a sick person, and it hurts and is painfull spells bad news
A dream of butter predicts tears and misery
If accidently a glass breaks in your hands it is a ill omen. To offset the bad omen, you have find find another glass and break it deliberately.

If you spill salt by accident, you get a fight
Spilling sugar predicts a visitor
When a mirror breaks it means 7 years of bad luck
Walking under a ladder gives misery and tears
Seeing an accidents predicts another that you are involved in
