We had the most enriching and fulfilling artistic experience of our lives here. As far as we are concerned, the training process as well as the production was a grand success. I took a day's break and joined work today again feeling kind of hollow after seven action-packed weeks!
The buzz in the capital is all about our production at the moment and we are continuing to receive compliments every day. The media interest is truly amazing and they are positive too. One newspaper came to interview all the artists today.
We had different cross-section of society on the three nights of the show. The Leader of the opposition Party (a brilliant and dynamic young politician) came on the first night as chief guest and Annamarie, the Honorary Consul was there as Chief Guest on the 2dn Night and of course we had the Prime Minister gracing the final night's show.
Thank you Theatre Embassy for making this happen. God bless you and everyone working at Theatre Embassy or associated with it. One night the emotion was so intense for me that I couldn't help but choke with tears of joy, satisfaction and gratitude!
